British label, Casson, was born out of the desire to provide easy to wear, urban style staples with a cool contemporary design aesthetic

London born designer, Hannah Casson, creates minimalist styles with that unmistakable London-rock edge. After studying Fashion Design at Kingston University and then selling out instantly at a top west London boutique she soon decided it was time to expand the label. The jersey line takes this super soft and comfortable fabric to new levels of sophistication whilst always ensuring the highest of quality. The labels sleek, no-nonsense approach remains current without being ultra-trendy.

The Casson girl has natural British style which is laid-back cool. She wants more than just novelty from fashion. Casson clothes have the same functionality and ease as throwing on a favourite old T-shirt. The look is casual-chic with pieces becoming much loved additions to any wardrobe. These undemanding clothes, with the right accessories, can be worn effortlessly from day through to night with ease.

The label prides itself on being both designed and made in Britain and hopes to keep it that way as it expands and develops, encouraging and supporting growth in Britain’s manufacturing industry. The luxurious, super soft jerseys used to create the Casson designs are also exclusively manufactured in Britain.

As an extra nod to their British roots, the dresses have been named after the many known (and not so well known) pubs across London, including The Westbourne Dress, The Albion Dress and The Lexington Dress. The photo shoot for the The Black Collection was shot in the 700 year old George Tavern pub, in the heart of London’s east end. A renowned venue wielding an individual and characterful charm steeped in history, an ideal setting for the Casson shoot.

Inspiration for the Casson logo, which features on the best selling Casson Vest, was taken from the raw simplicity of bare bones. The common thread running through the label's ethos is definitely that there is strength in simplicity.

The collections are available all year round and will grow with additional styles and colours being added over time. Soon to come is The Holiday Collection, featuring relaxed maxi dress styles, perfect for those much needed get-away breaks.
